Paramount+ Scores College Basketball Docuseries
EXCLUSIVE: The University of Michigan Wolverines and the University of Kansas Jayhawks are the subject of a new docuseries coming to Paramount+.
The streamer has ordered Made For March, a four-part series that follows each team across the entire season.
The series chronicles both teams as they bid for a national championship. Both teams have provided off-court access exclusive game footage and interviews and coverage of key regular‑season, conference and postseason matchups in the Big 12 and Big Ten. It marks the first time that cameras have followed either team across a whole season.
It will premiere on Saturday, April 4, followed by two episodes on April 5 and the finale on April 18.
Michigan Wolverines are currently ranked number two in the nation and are led by second-year head coach Dusty May. Featuring the likes of Yaxel Lendeborg, the Wolverines entered the season with one of the most touted transfer classes in the country.
Kansas Jayhawks are currently ninth in the nation, led by Hall of Fame head coach Bill Self, who has previously steered the JayHawks to two national championships. This team features likely NBA top draft pick Darryn Peterson.
The series is produced by Paramount Sports Entertainment and Religion of Sports, which was founded by Tom Brady, Michael Strahan and Gotham Chopra. Jesse Sisgold and Jon Weinbach exec produce for Paramount Sports Entertainment, while Chopra, Ameeth Sankaran and Jonathan Schaerf exec produce for Religion of Sports alongside Collin Orcutt and co-exec producer Sami Khan. CBS Sports and Big Ten Network also collaborated on the project.
“In today’s college basketball environment, it’s not easy to build real connection,” said Michigan’s Men’s Head Basketball Coach Dusty May. “This group has done that, and there’s something special about who they are and where they’re headed. For the first time ever, this project gives fans an all-access look at Michigan Basketball as we push toward March.”
“For over two decades, the Kansas Men’s Basketball program has been approached for a variety of all-access documentaries, and I have always turned them down,” added Kansas’ Men’s Head Basketball Coach, Bill Self. “However, this is the one moment, with an incredibly special team, where I felt it was finally the right time to let viewers behind the curtain to get an unfettered look at what goes on with Kansas basketball.”
